Yes, I love everything about it, and I love how much it has taught me about light and colors. I just wish I had more time to practice. Between sewing, family, school, my website and everything else, I have neglected my camera more often then I care to admit. I have even set the knob to – dare I say it – yes…..”AUTO” when I need a quick family shot. So sad.
I think the last pictures I took of Olivia modeling were back in September. Anyways, it has been a long time. So when I took Olivia out to model some clothing last weekend, I was not expecting such a flop, but honestly that is exactly what it was. Some pictures were too dark, too light, too blurry, and most of them were just not good. No…correction….the pictures were horrible. I had to edit them for hours, and I still could not get them to look good. It is my fault. After studying a ton of books, and blogs, the one thing they say over and over again is you have to PRACTICE, Practice, PRACTICE. All the time, and any time. So needless to say, I studied my manual, practiced taking shots of the dog and my roses, working on the aperture, the settings, and my light. I had to retrain myself. It was fun, and it brought back lots of memories, and as you can see the pictures turned out pretty good.
Now I can finally introduce to you the Summer Blooms Set. The fabric is gorgeous. It is a lovely sunny yellow floral print with various shades of pink, red and white. It is also available in a sky blue, grassy green and a cream color. We paired this set up with the ruffled shorts, because obviously an 8-yr old will not wear bloomers. (Still not sure about the Shorties.) The top ties at the shoulders with spaghetti straps. Olivia wears her top with a sweater to school. It is a comfortable and cute set. Of course, my daughter has requested that I also make her a dress, so we will also be showing you the dress in the next few days. I am very excited about this upcoming line. I hope you like it, and thanks for sharing.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
