Here we are just 6 days away from Santa spreading the joy all through our house. How excited everyone is …..especially my two kids. I wish sometimes my camera could capture their smiles and surprised faces when our ELF does silly things, or when I add a present or two nicely wrapped under the tree. I love to tease them. I have even caught the kids peeking into my closet a few times already looking for their gifts. LOL. Yes, it is a special time of year. Of course, it is also hard to believe that the year 2014 is almost over. This year just flew by, but I am excited to see what 2015 will bring us. Lots of lovely new things…..I promise.
We are going to take a short vacation until January 10th. Of course, behind the scenes there will be a lot of scheming, designing and sewing going on. I have to remove all of my Christmas fabrics from my studio, and replace them with Easter and Spring. That usually takes a day or two, but I enjoy a clean sewing room. A fresh start to get my juices flowing. I will also start adding spring/summer dresses to our website. Have I mentioned how much I love to sew for spring and summer? The colors, the florals, the new patterns……. and this year I am especially excited because there were so many new fabrics. YUM! Lots of lovely new fabrics are coming to Kinder Kouture, and I promise you will like what we have lined up.
The Prima Ballerina is sold out, and along with this dress, I have had to remove several dresses that have sold out this season. I always hate to see the designs go, but I have so much to be thankful for this year that I am all smiles right now. Christmas was a total success, and not just because of the sales, but all the little surprises that came from my customers. I cannot remember getting so many “THANK YOU” emails and pictures of little princesses all dressed up as I have gotten in the last three months. I feel like my little “community” has grown, and so many customers both new and old have become friends. I thank each and every one of you for the great reviews, and especially for taking the time to write them. It is always nice to know whether an order fit, or whether a customer liked the quality of an item ordered. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU.
