I also managed to finish the YELLOW SAVANNAH ROSE dress in a substitute fabric.  The fabrics are very similiar, and the dress is just breathtaking up close.  I love the fact that this fabric has polka dots.  I wish I had this one for my daughter when she was 2 years old.

Speaking of daughter, I worked with the Evelyn fabrics all weekend, and had enough fabric left over to make my daughter a pretty pair of shorts.  The sailor shorts are by far her favorite pattern when it comes to shorts.  The fit is fantastic, and the length is perfect.  So I whipped up a pair of shorts in this lovely EVELYN fabric, and she loves them.  So I decided to offer them in my shop.  I have enough fabric to make about 6 pairs, and I am happy to say that this pattern now goes up to a size 12.
