Flutters

Four years ago I tested a beautiful pattern using flutters.    At the time I had no idea that flutters would become so popular or for that matter requested.  But it is true.  The flutter dresses are among our most popular and bestselling designs.  So I wanted to take a moment and show you the difference in the various flutter patterns, as well as how cute these dresses look on some of our models……and this may surprise you…..all different ages.  Today I thought I would answer some questions that I keep getting about Flutters.  It’s amazing that so many people have a love/hate relationship with flutters.  No problem.  I get it.

So the pictures above are a perfect example of what a dress looks like with various types of flutters.   The Bunny Hill Dress has a lot of flutters.  The Sweet Bunny Dress has less flutters – Sweet Bunny Dress – and no flutters as seen on my design board while putting the Bunny Hill Dress together.

I agree that most flutter style dresses  are adorable on little girls.  I mean look at these little girls all dressed up….how perfectly sweet.

April Bunny Dress

I could not even imagine that an older girl could wear the same type of dress and get the same effect.  But I was wrong…..I loved the Lily Dress my daughter wore for two years and she was 8 at the time.

I hope this sort of convinced you that flutter style dresses can look great on girls of all ages.  If not, just send me an email and will skip the flutters on your design.  It’s easy, and it can be done.  By the way, we will be remaking this gorgeous Evelyn with a new fabric, so stay tuned for our next new dress.
