Hello, hello, hello. I apologize for not blogging in awhile. I have been sick in the worst possible way, and although I am beginning to feel a lot better, the medicine I have to take keeps me tired and nauseated all the time. I found out that I had an ulcer. It was a bit of shock to me. I woke up on Labor Day at 2am with a horrible stomach ache. Nothing I took seemed to work, and the pain became worse each day. I could not swallow any food, or stand up on my feet for very long. I never have any problems with my stomach. The only good news is that it seems to be bacterial related, which means that there is no telling where I picked up the bacteria or how. The important thing is that I am feeling much better, and although I do feel queezy at times, things are finally starting to get back to normal. I hate taking pills, and they have me taking six antibiotics in one day! Disgusting. Needless to say, I have not gotten much done in the last few days.
I did manage in the last week to get this one dress done. So adorable. This is a size 3 for a customer, and I love to take pictures of all the tiny cute dresses I make. In these pictures you can really see all the fabrics, and how beautiful they are. The lighting was not so great when I took the pictures, thus the reason why the red looks a bit darker then it actually is. The skirt is nice and full, so there is plenty of twirl potential here. I love the peasant bodice because of the fit, and the way it looks. I hope you enjoy the pictures, and I will be back soon.
